Default Reassembly question

Ok, I've done this before, but don't remember this! I pulled out the one way shaft to change the gear...
I don't remember two spacers coming out before!? One is larger, one is smaller, with a slightly smaller ID that may be for a press fit? Can someone tell my dumb brain how this goes? I don't see the small one in the manual. Maybe this damn thing was just wedged in there this whole time?

...Are you sure that's not the inner race for the top bearing?

I kinda thought so at first too, but the bearing is still in the motor plate! Weird. Maybe that piece just popped out of my spare tool set that was sitting nearby and rolled under the heli.

Yep, if I look down the bearing block, it's a big hole where the bearing used to be! Oh, how I hate splitting the frames on these! Hopefully the frame isn't chewed up. Maybe it's a sign to get that X5 I have my eye on! Oh, I can dream.

That might explain the sloppy tail that used to be rock solid last time I flew around Christmas, even at slowish head speed.

Shingles? That sucks! Get better soon. I hope that doesn't hang around long. I was very very bad, as I'm looking for parts, I oops, pulled the trigger on an X5. $2 bearing cost me just a bit more. Now I just need to get my Hurri in good working order, and I'll put it up for sale (with a spare motor).

If it makes you feel any better, it's a whopping 17 degrees here. Sunny but too damn cold.

Left brain-half thinks it needs new heli.... resistance is futile!

Congratulations?!

Well, got the frame split. The good news is the frame didn't get chewed up or melted, so hopefully my LHS has the bearing in the website says it does, and I'll be back in business this weekend. I just hate having to pull the whole thing apart for a bearing. PT, you mentioned heat bluing the one way shaft. Luckily, no heat, just greasy and dirty. I have the fingers to prove it! :p

Hey Matt
Doing O.K. Pain meds are working but still blisters on leg...no new ones so that is good news...I had to go in to work today because I know my boss would just leave it and do nothing on my desk....I was right. Plus I don't want to burn up my vacation time while sick(no sick leave)
I have new OWB if you need one and lots of links too....
