Hi guys

I have a quick question .. I'm thinking of getting a 700 , I was just wondering would I be able to use my 5000mAh lipo's from my 550 … and if so is there a diagram for connecting them up ..

so left lipo live to live , ground to live on lipo Right , right ground to ground …

thats what it looks like to me is that correct … I couldn't see where the live on the right lipo was going to …

Ok. Here goes.

Right lipo. Ground/negative from esc to ground/negative on connector.

Left lipo. Positive wire from esc to positive on connector.

Now with a spare piece of equal gauge wire run fom positive right to ground/negative left.

I use a bullet on the black wire and the receptacle on the red wire. I do it opposite on the ESC. This way, you can never mix them up, and moreover it is really easy to put the batteries in series without an extra wire

They sell the series Y connector on eBay for deans or what I recommend EC5.

If you have the means to solder. There is so little soldering I get mine professionally done for $20. I bring all my lipos , esc and motor all at the end of a build. and for the price and piece of mind that its done perfect its worth that little bit of money. (For me anyways)
