Scout CX

I tried to bind my DX6i to my Scout CX today, but was not successful. Can this not be done or did I do something wrong?

Anyone else tried this?

I've only ever been able to get mine to bind with the tx it came with.

That is my experience, also. When I was talking to HH's support group about my 120SR, they said the DX6i would work with all Blade product, so I thought I would give it a try. I guess they meant all products upward from the 120SR.

I just thought it would be nice if the "pedals" were on the left stick like my other helicopters. Not a big deal.

The Scout will not bind to Spektrum products. It does not use Spektrum DSM technology. It is the ONLY blade product to not do so.

Dear Horizon, The main reason I steer newbies away from the helicopters that are sold in malls and department stores is because the controls are wrong and they will train the brain wrong. When I got into hobby grade helicopters, it took me a long time to retrain my brain after flying toy grade 2 or 3 channel helicopters. I never thought you would build a helicopter with the controls opposite of all your other products, but, apparently the Blade Scout is set up like a toy grade helicopter from a mall. I regret advising a young friend to purchase a Scout.

But yes, I agree. Why such a layout puzzles me to say the least.
