Just because someone likes power does not mean they do not fly. I FLY my HP08 lots, it flies very well and can do things my c05 can not. It likes to break more when crashed though. I still use my c05 the most, I have crashed it 50 times or more in the last week and not broken 1 part.

My current bird has:
HP05s, XP-12A flashed,
8500KV HP03T, XP-3A flashed,
MH "X" Frame.

I have been collecting parts to build a second bird;
Black Dragon, XP-7A flashed,
8500KV HP03T, XP-3A flashed,
MH "X" Frame.

Only part I'm missing is the 8500KV HP03T, and XP-3A flashed.
I think I'm going to assemble it this week with a 7mm tail so I can get it in the air. Then put the BL tail on later.

How does the 7mm tail weight compare to the hp03?

The 7mm is 2.5g.

As for the xp-3 and hp03t combination ?????

Should also get a sr120 (8mm) weight as well.

I'm right there with yah . In a bigger air space I love the hp05s with sr120 V1. It was a little windy yesterday so I flew the hp05s and is was so much fun. Did huge backwards loops and fast backwards inverted hurricanes. It makes a great sound when doing those hurricanes and I don't even worry about the tail. With my CM05 V2 and stock tail I'm constantly alert for reacting to a unwanted tail loss. But that keeps my skills fine tuned. Like I really have skills

I hope I didn't piss anyone off with my comments on this thread. And if I did I will personally PM you with an apology. I think everyone in this group of guys are great. Happy flag day and happy fathers day to all you dads. God bless

For sure we are good man! Happy Fathers day to all since you mentioned it!
I love sounds the tail makes on sliding maneuvers. It's workin' it's butt of!

That's a solid plan. I have been stock frame on all my birds so far... I think this next one is going to push me into an aftermarket frame though.

I just watched this again and noticed the cat was getting into the pilot box for a second, but then was encouraged to move on!
This engine looks to be similar in size to the C50 but more power?

Maarset, get a 7mm and MiniCP tail rotor on that thing! Only adds .5g or so, but you can run a shorter boom with no blowing out. They are cheaper to replace than 6mm also.

It is off a walkera model. It looks like the v2 bit is a bit longer and looks to have more pitch. Not a really big upgrade over the v2, but it does help on the smaller tail motors.
