Default Problem arming ice100 esc

I installed a ice100 in my 550v2, with a AR7200BX. I had some issues with throttle calibration, but after I learned i needed to boot up the AR7200BX first, then connect the ICE, it worked okay and I got the ligth going and all. But now I'm having issues arming the ESC when I connect a new pack. I normaly have to go to mid stick and hit TH a couple of times before it armes. After that it works okay, governor doings it's jobb and all. But it's rath annoying and at times takes ages to work. Any idea what can be wrong?

Did you set the ESC up in the Castle Link software to "Fixed End Points", then set throttle end points as shown in this video?

After you do that, then you go back into the software and program the ESC for Gov mode.

Done all that actually, and checking the log the governor is doing it's job just find holding the correct headspeed in both idle1 and idle 2, problem is just arming the damn thing. Guess I should try redoing the calibration proccess. Could thing I installed the quicklink...

Did you use the procedure using a spare battery pack? There is a issue with the 7200bx and Ice controllers connecting.

Without going into detailsedona search on Helifreak. In on my IPhone and can't post a link. Also Spektrum has posted a bypass procedure on there website.

Yeah, I used a battery pack to fire up the BeastX first, then connected the ESC. Still having issues. I will check out Sprekrum's note on this tho, thanks.

Ok good. Do you have auto bail out selected? What are you throttle endpoint?

After calibration mine are 93 high and 109 low with bail out selected on my 11X.

I have the same problem on the 600 pro using the cc 80hv. I have disconnected the red wire from the esc and connect the 7200bx with 2s lipo let it go thru process and then raised the throttle to full connect the esc without the red wire and still nothing. I know it been a problem , has anyone solved it?

From what I understand, you don't remove the red wire from the CC 80HV because it does not have an on board BEC. You only do that for ESCs that have an on board BEC that you're not going to use, opting to use an external regulator instead.

CC HV ESC’s have dual optical isolator input and must have all 3 wires of they will not communicate with the receiver or Castle Link. Your HV ESC will never work again until you re-connect the red wire.

You only remove the red wire from CC low voltage ESC’s that have internal BEC’s.
