What Is Missing - The anti-rotation bracket

Being doing some research and playing around. What is missing from this picture?



This one has a Fusion 50 elevator assembly

A number of parts are compatible between the Outrage helicopters, all you need to do is compare the part numbers at the bottom of the manuals. Don't use the part numbers in the build diagrams. With a little modification the Fusion 50 elevator arm can be used in the Outrage 550.

You need some 5/32 and 3/16 aluminum tubing to build the bushings for the Fusion 50 elevator arm. The F50 uses a 5mm shaft and the O550 uses a 3mm shaft.


Cut a couple of pieces of the aluminum tubing just a little shorter than the elevator arm and drill holes in the pieces to line up with the holes in the elevator arm.


Slip the smaller aluminum tubing into the larger diameter piece.


Pieces put together to make the bushing. Just install in the O550 frame like you normally would and you are good to go with the F50 elevator assembly. I had to file the F50 assembly just a little bit to get a smooth rotation when in the frames, it was about .010 wider than the elevator arm that was in there.
