Default Ys 91 srx tareq check valve

I just installed one of these engines and I noticed my check valve doesn't have a spring in it like im used to seeing in other regulated engines.

Should the check valve for this engine have a spring in it?

Thanks!

Hmmm... wonder if the spring from a different check valve would be ok to use. I have a check valve from a older ys 91 Sr and one from an os 105 lying around.

Check the part numbers in the manual, the 91sr check valve may be the same as the 91srx valve.

Works no problem.
I run a YS valve on my 91 HZR.

I tried them both today. The one missing the spring did not hold good pressure. I put my old os 105 check valve on there and it builds and holds good pressure now.
