Default Outrage 50 or Trex 700

Had my stuff stolen a while back and just replaced my 450 pro. I had a 700 but wondering if I should try the Outrage 50N. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have about the same question but with the T600 NitroPro or LE on my list. You see I already have a R50 and I want to upgrate it with something new. One of my thoughts is that the 700 is a great machine to have since I already have a 50 but on the other hand is a bit of expensive to buy all the stuf you need to fly it and also for maintenance and repair. The other thought is that a modern 50 size is capable to do all the flying you need and more cheap on everything. So between Outrage 50 and T-rex600. I like more the Outrage 50 but in my country and I believe everyware (Velocity not so popular at this time) only few dealers bring those. And at the end I believe that I will have more chance to find parts for a T-rex because everyware sell them. I haven't disided yet, it's so confusing for me....

I just finished a Velocity 50, and even as a begginer.. the Velocity is a better machine than the trex. It's more "tunable". Parts are cheap. So my vote is get a Outrage, you wont regret it!

I vote Outrage... did you see my "Crash comparison" thread.. WOW Outrage helis are cheap to fix... my 550 is 1/3 cheaper than my 500ESP to fix.

If you already flew a Rex-700, you will be disappointed replacing it with something smaller. I would suggest staying with the same size machine if you can afford it.

Not on my Outrage G5 The Outrage helicopters have way to many parts. The G5 has more than twice the part count comparing to my L400.

cant compare any heli to a Logo in that aspect.
they win hands down.

but are more expensive overall.

My vote if I could have only 1 I think Id choose the Vel50 over a T700N just because with a 55,56,57 and large 620/630 blades it really feels big.
and tracks amazing and fast.

that and it sips fuel and parts are super cheap.

I know one person who flew a 700 last summer before building a Velocity this fall. The 700 has now been sold, for all the reasons already explained. Flys as big, costs way less to feed.

I have both and right now my "go-to" heli is the Velocity 50. I'm very impressed with how well it flies. Being such a light-weight heli, it has a power-to-weight ratio with a 55 engine that could rival a 700/90. And yet, the velocity is more fuel efficient, and is WAY cheaper to repair. Overall, I do feel like the 700 is a better flying heli, simply for it's size and stability, but if you consider low crash-cost in the overall value proposition, I'd choose the Velocity.

Default 700n or Outrage 50N

Thanks for the replies. Think I will go with the Outrage and maybe later buy another 700 or go with the Outrage 90.

The quality option to both Outrage and Align is MA.

The Fury 55 offers much higher quality machining, bearings, and fit and finish.

In response to the comment about the velocity with a 55 swinging 630's flying similiar to a 700 is just a reach. I owned a velocity with a 55, funtech and swe 630's and it was far behind my 700 imo. I actually sold my velocity for a flybarless 600 le and don't regret it at all, owned the 600 for 1 week and already flown it twice as much.

You cant compare a 50 to a 90.

You either want one or the other.

I have both, actually 2 90s and a 50. I like them both/all for what they are.

I don't care if you have a light 700 90 or a vibe 90, it's a 90, it's bigger, always will be.

My 600 is fun and flys big, it just doesn't fly as big as my 90s. And I don't expect it to.

Should we compare a 450 Pro to a Henseleit . . .

700 V BAR, if you haven't flown one... feels like I have a os 95, with 2 razors as flybar paddles, and there is no comparison, 50 to 90 none, there is nothing to compare, everything on the 50 is smaller, I fly my 600n more only because of fuel.
