Default 3gx setup problem

Hello, I´m new in the forum so first of all I would like to say hi and sorry in advance for my english as I´m not a native english speaker.

I´ve got a trex 450 pro v2 3gx super combo ( what a long name), I have it all mounted and when I enter DIR mode on the 3 gx on step 1 (DIR) i check that the swashplate and the rotor head are level (they are) and that all the controls move in the right direction (they do).

Then I go to step 2 (E.LIM light) and move my radio stick al the way forward to set the limit and then back to neutral, then on step 3 (E.REV) I tilt the helicopter nose up/down but the swashplate doesn´t move at all, well just 1 mm and a bit randomly and slowly. The same happens on step 5 (A.rev) it doesn´t move when tilting the heli right/left.

when in the first step everythng is moving ok, but looks like the internal gyros of the 3gx are not responding when I tilt the helicopter.

Please help!!!

Thank you very much in advance for your help and sorry for the long post.

Try turning the gain up a bit so there is more interaction with movement , put the gain pots to about 1:30. When checking watch for the initial movement when you til the heli.

Thanx bad007, i put them all the way to maximum and does more or less the same, I don't know how much it should move when i tilt the heli, but it moves very little and is not very agile when i move it from one side to the other. Thank you again for the help.

How much pitch did you set it up for? Just look close when tipping it and make sure the swash trys to physically level.
Don't leave the gains up the whole way when you go to fly, return them to 12:00 for first flight and then tweek them up a little at a time.

Just an FYI - The first time I set up my 3GX, the swash moved during this step as outlined in the manual. The second time I went into setup mode, it did not tilt - it did the exact same thing you are describing. It flys fine, however... you can check the tilt by turning on throttle hold when it's in regular mode - it's just both aileron and elevator channels will be live at once.
