Default fpv question

hey guys,
i was looking into fpv for the only purpose of being able to view aerial photos and vids not to fly my heli around (but going to do that someday). i am looking at a product from hobby king that is a 5.8g 200mw FPV Wireless AV Tx & Rx Set and i will be using my go pro hero 2. my questions are, has anyone used this product or these type (maybe if you bought this setup from another place), your opinion of this set up, or would you suggest another set up that costs about the same. i don't know very much about electronics but the research that i have done shows this to be a pretty good starter and i watched a youtube on the set up of this product with a go pro and it was very easy. please leave me you opinion, comments, or ideas. i also have a dx8 and so i don't think that there should be any interference with this product. thanks a lot helifreaks.

All i'll say is get it, try it and take it from there. Don't spend alot when starting fpv. Especially that you say you don't know much about electronics. Just do loads of fun fpv reading and watching videos from others. Learn the basics of all things involved with fpv and get a setup cheap going. There are LOADS of info out there to be read and that's how i learnt.

Good luck and keep flying

I used hobby king's 5.8g 200mw along with a go pro hero 2 before. The 200mW doesn't go far at all.

This was the setup with the 200mW and GoPro and an OSD. I powered it using the same battery which is the 3s LiPo directly.

Here's a hovering video testing my fpv heli with build components in the description. Just to get an idea of what other options you can have with regards to fpv components.

Maybe a bit off topic (well, i mean off forum since it's not exactly a heli. ), but if you want to see stable, check out my new toy for fpv (before it ran of battery). It was 100% hands free. Well, other than the hand that physically push and pull it around.
