Default CIU dead or Driver problems? Windows 10

Is my Futaba CIU dead or do I have Driver problems? Windows 10
Does anyone know how I can tell if the CIU unit is dead? Or maybe its a driver problem. It does not want to install drivers for the CIU unit. I get some kind of message that says my CIU drivers are missing a "Hash tag"
Thanks,
The Mayor

you have to disable the driver signature enforcement in Windows 10 in order to install the ciu2 drivers and update the ciu2 . this is from the windows 10 website

a. Press the Win + C and click on PC settings.

b. Switch over to the “Update & recovery” section.

c. Then click on the Recovery option on the left hand side.

d. Once selected, you will see an advanced startup section appear on the right hand side. You will need to click on the “Restart now” button.

e. Once your Computer has rebooted you will need to choose the Troubleshoot option.

f. Then head into Advanced options.

g. Then Startup Settings.

h. Since we are modifying boot time configuration settings, you will need to restart your computer one last time.

I. Here you will be given a list of startup settings that you can change. The one we are looking for is “Disable driver signature enforcement”. To choose the setting, you will need to press the F7 key.

After plugging in the CUI2 you can also go to Device Manager and update the drivers manually.
Direct the computer to the CIU2 file folder and when it says that the driver is unsigned ,tell it to use the unsigned drivers.
Two drivers need to be updated.
Works fine.

Default Thanks, the CIU_2 drivers successfully installed

Nice, you got me going! But Wow Futaba! that's a really clunky process.
now I have to struggle with the Futaba "GYLink" software to try and backup some older CGY750 files. This will be fun.
