Default Help with mSR-X

After my last crash, I replaced the main blades grips that were way loose and the main gear which had lost almost all the tooths.
Now when I throttle up, just the tail motor spins, and I need to shake the heli a little bit for the main motor to start spinning. If I put it on the ground just the tail motor spins.
I'm new with helis, so I don't know how to troubleshoot this problem.
Any ideas any one?

Seems like you might have damaged the brushes in the main motor in a crash. You need to replace it.

Is the gear mesh too tight or is any thing binding?

Try taking the gear off and see if the main motor will spool up normally, while you have the gear off make sure the main shaft spins free.

If the motor doesn't spool up with the gear off then the motor may have taken a crap.

You should also check the main motor plug, i had a problem like this as well.
it may be that the plug came loose or a bad connection.

You should be able to take your finger and rotate the blades around to
see if the shaft is moving freely. Be sure the gear is also on the correct way.
The motor may have slid up in your crash also if so push it down and apply
some glue to it and the frame. Also check the shaft bearings they may have
some dirt in them also along with the swash.

One more thing to check, I have seen the wires on the battery lead break loose on the board after a crash, usually it's the ground so when you shake it, it would make contact and the motor would work.
might not be your problem but it is something to check if everything else checks out.

Thank you for all the replies. The problem was with a bad motor.
It only lasted one week. Now it's running fine.
