Well I finished my Chaos 600E today .Took me a week because of my hand but the whole build went as smooth as my Chaos 450PRO and Chaos 700E build did.Everything is nice and tight with zero slop,can't ask for more and love the quality of the part's ..Will do the maiden tomorrow as long as the weather hold's up .Here's my setup ..

CC ICE 100 ESC
Scorpion 4025-1100KV with 16T pinion
Hyperion DS20xTMD cyclic servo's
Hyperion DS20x-GCD tail servo
Align GP780 gyro
AR7100 running a stright 6.6V LiFe pack,no BEC needed
Stock CF paddle's
Stock 600MM main blade's
Stock plastic tail blade's

I'll put the stock CF tail blade's on after the maiden.Also still trying to figure out the GT-9 gyro so that will go on also once I get it going..I like running gov mode and the kit came with a 15/16T pinion.Gov is maxed at 2000RPM so i'll change to a 17T pinion if I want a little more headspeed..One thing kinda shocked me was the cyclic servo's,they are pretty fast with more than enough torque ..... 0.13 oz of speed and 263.8 oz of torque and when I flick the cyclic stick it shows because the swash turn's into a blurr..Going to be a fun flyer,I can already tell ..

Got my new Chaos 600E flying.VERY happy and she fly's smooth..Kinda shocked at how quiet it is.Had few 50/600's,they wern't this quiet ..Im useing
Scorpion 4025-1100KV with 16T pinion
CC ICE 100 ESC
Hyperion DS20X-TMD cyclic servo's
Hyperion DS20xGCD tail servo
Align DS780 Gyro (will put the GT-9 that came with it on soon)
Turnigy 35C 5000mAh 6S lipo's

The only thing it need's is a little bit more headspeed.It's set for 2000RPM because that's all I can get out of gov mode so i'll try a 17T pinion and shoot for 2150RPM's .Will be nice out all day tomorrow so i'll get better video's..It rained all day and didn't stop until it started getting dark so I busted out the door for 2 quick flight's .Im really thinking about doing a night setup for all my heli's,will look cool on day's like this...

Thanks bro..Im charging and going out in a min.I'll show ya what it's like with a flat 100% throttle curve.The headspeed is around 2400/2500 RPM and fast but I don't like it because it kill's the lipo FAST..I'll do the first 2 or so flight's in gov mode then do a few with throttle curve's,have to set my timer for 3min's ..

Well I did a few flight's with and without gov mode.Thought it might be my lipo's but im told it's not..

GOV MODE::
Seem's I need a 17T pinion for gov mode to get the headspeed up to 2150RPM,16T at 2000RPM isn't cutting it.Hold's the headspeed good but it's way to low for anything hard/fast.Either way,alot would be more than happy with this headspeed/pinion because it's good for learning collective management and you can still do anything you want.

THROTTLE CURVES::
With a 90% throttle curve it should be ripping but im told that the 16T pinion is over kill for throttle curve's.Headspeed is around 2400RPM and with it being that high,it's killing the motor's torque.For throttle curve's,I either need a 13 or 14T pinion for a 2100-2200 RPM headspeed..The kit came with the 15/16T pinion so I might swap the 16T for the 15T today and give it a go..

Default Very cool....

Those were awesome bro.! You're having way too much fun with that 600, love the comedy on the 2nd video...LOL. Now that you have several flights on it, which Chaos do you perfer to fly more.....450, 600 or the all mighty 700? I know you can't really answer that till you fly the soon to be 550 but I was just curious.

I know all you guys just love banging the sticks around but I want to show you something very cool. This is Fred's Chaos 600 with a Hughes 500D scale body on it with the RCAerodyne 5 bladed roter and 4 blade tail rotor. I got to hang out with Fred and Marvin at IRCHA this year and I have to tell you it was a blast... I shot this video on Thursday evening.

Now back to our regularly scheduled stick banging

And just to make sure credit goes where its due... Ghost did another excellent job of making sure everything was absolutely perfect on this thing...

Well we had one small mishap with a sleeve on the tail shaft, but somehow I managed to get it from inverted while piroing and auto it down without incident... After a quick bit of loctite she was perfect...
