Just thinking out loud...maybe they could get the folks who did gorilla gear to make some up. They really held up well.

They tried it in the early V1 development and the plastic used in gorilla gear is not strong enough to support a 700 class machine.

What about an internal spring steel frame with the gorilla gear molded over, it's possible it could bend if hit hard enough but you could bend them back

Also how about some love for the Protos and it's little sister the mini-p??? I'd love to see those updated as well If so ask for better swashes too please

Interesting idea!

And, uh what do you expect MSH to announce? Everything at once?

I probably wouldn't use light to describe a max. :-D Prob about where your G700C is. Depending on setup

If you want ultra light loading, get the cheap 800 upgrade kit and go with >750mm blades.

Main gear is 190T. Pinions are 18-22.

If you go with a 800MX/4525 with a 120A ESC you are probably as light as you can get. MKS x6 servos I hear are light?

Oh so it's made of Osmium? I'm not seeing it, that big o' chunk of transmission sitting atop my goblin with it's big heavy canopy and boom weigh in close to what a petite (looking) Max V2 will?

Edit: I'll admit, I like the loading light and floaty, not a deal breaker.. Any idea's if I'll be able to swing my rail 716's on it stock?

Alex owns both, I'd bet he is speaking the truth on the weight, although I agree. Intuitively I don't see how it couldn't be a bunch lighter than my Goblin.

When you see one in person, you will not call it petite. Looks a lot larger vs a g700c. The bottom frame is probably what triggers your brain to think that. But the bottom frame is heavy duty to protect your packs.

Yes. Swings 716's with 115 tail blades no problem.

Conveniently you own both. Would a side-by-side help them see it?

It's a capable full blown 800 machine. Keep that in mind when calling it petite.

I'm bringing my tools. You might have to help me put one of these together at IRCHA.

So this has the one way on the main where it should be?
One reason I stayed clear of the Mini Protos was becasue of the one way pinions. That and 1.5mm allen heads in the frame.

The 1.5mm allens on the frame are fine, I have never striped one but twice the head has broken off from overtightening. If you buy high quality tools no screw is an issue.
