It was a beautiful day!!! The Weather was Perfect!!!!!
Shot with a Nikon D90.

Heres my charging station. 6s Thunderpower 3300MAH fit perfect in the E8.
Under the Ali Plate is a 1000watt 26volt supply.
Its enough to charge faster than I can Fly in the field.

Looks great, I am going to be switching over to some 65C 6S Thunder Power 3300mAh packs here in the following week, I'm excited to see the weight difference and power increase over the Gens Ace packs I've been using .

because it's not a goblin where everyone post the whole time about what broke!,
I just inherited an e 6 from my friend who wanted my hotliner so now have to convert this to something I can live with, first up beast or vbar, jive or vbar gov, rewinded motor etc. anyone know what the story is about servo failure, on the combo kit?
Will post some flying pics of my e8 soon, weather been crap

I have an e6 aswell.
Could only get a blue line full size v bar to work. The motor has a high frequency vibe and a mini v won't work. Beast x was no good either.

I even tested setup with no pinion on the motor and tail dissengaged. Also tried my friends e6. Had same issue.

Some complaint with servo gears. They will strip on bad autos or rough transport.
But the gears are cheap as chips and can be replaced without unbolting from machine.

Plenty of power though.

Heres a Vid of my E8 my friend took.

Its the first flight after my tail faliure and crash.
Just doing some tuning and checking.
If you look closely I have night blades on too so tuning it up for a night setup.
I found the night blades to be much less locked in.

Ill get some more vid when the weather is better too. Its now flying sweet!!

Yeah weird....
I tried a blue line aswell and it wasn't happy on spool up.
All good now though with the full size though.

I assume you worked out the 140 ccpm? With the v bar?

Its a pretty crazy 500 sized helI out the box.

it flew well on 140 yes, the stock gov had the tail all over the place so he turned it off, then good.
Maybe you had a loose board on your mini, I had a few, some double sided tape between board and cover fixed it. since my friend removed unit I was planning to use beast but since bx works better at speed will probably swop vbar on tdr with beast. Tdr1 already has beast and a much preferred system at speed for me. Maybe I'll test the new bx out on this one and do the swop later always good to get a comparison.
You run the same setup on 140 as with e8?

Yeah same setup on the e8. 140ccpm.

Don't use the gov on the e6 with the stock esc and servos at 5 volts. The bec will fail....... Its happened three times now to two of us.

What the!!!! I have tdr aswell.
We must have exactly the same heli tastes!!!

Yes they are sabs red devil fb 600mm. I used them on a fb raptor and since i wanted to keep it low cost I decided not to get any fbl, until I crash them, which yet to be done...!

They sound great though...
