[05:11:35] luis tavarez: right now im charging it for the 3rd time since om going to the field tomorow morning and i just realized the cell number 1 is not going higher than 4.10v thats on my icharger 308 duo and its getting really hot, im charging them at 1c rate

[05:53:24] luis tavarez: when my charger has a screen and it tells me the 1st cell is not getting charged all the way up to 4.20, instead is getting just to 4.10 while all the others cells are getting all the way up to 4.20
[05:53:38] luis tavarez: and i noticed that particular cell is getting hot
[05:53:50] luis tavarez: this is my 3rd charge on this lipo

Dear Friend

from previous experience with HK customer service I opened rma claim by clicking on the order contains the wrong or defected items after you place a request of customer service, give them the fitting solution you want (in my case they sent me wrong kit and it have similar value to the one I ordered and since I already was half the way assembling the wings when I realized I'm working on the wrong kit so returning it wont be possible (it'll also cost me more money to send back than keeping it) I asked them for a refund of the shipping charges and they offered free shipping if I paid again for the right kit) I left the case open with them and I believe they have higher level of CS agents who will view the cases pending and voila someone else joined and gave me full refund for the kit value (almost 3 times the shipping value I wanted in the beginning)

just be patient and don't rely on the chatting agents as most of them are either a pod or someone who barely speaks English. you wont get anywhere with them.

btw thanks for the batteries I just received them today and its great as described.

The above reposted chat is reason enough not to deal with HobbyKing. Granted, I have had excellent luck with HobbyKing, not ever needing to use their CS. Their prices are excellent, but their CS does not impress me 1 bit. But there are still alot of folks who will continue to order from them.

If you cant afford something that is a better grade or quality for that fact, just wait a few weeks longer and buy a better quality brand. I get impatient at times too, but with all of my current sponsorships, I can get the best I am able to get right away.

I need to work on my patient lol. That's a very good idea. Just to wait to get all the cash I need. I've hd good luck with them too. But when you spent 160 bucks on a pair of lipos and then one doesn't work. I'm grounded since I fly them in seties and that gets me mad. BUT oh well. This is just a hobby. I'll be careful next time
