Default decisions decisions

Building up a new heli at the moment (Rush 750) and I'm having a bit of a hard time deciding....

I already have an SK720 Blue for it, along with some Torq HV servos and whatnot.

I was going to order a KDE 700 XF, but then of course the website has to go and flash up the new SK720 BE infront of me, and I am weak.

Do I order a new Black edition and sell the blue? OR do I keep the Blue and buy the SK-GPS? OR, do I buy both the BE and the SK-GPS and simply not eat for a few months?

Part of me says buy the SK-GPS as it expands on the capabilities rather than just refining them, but then it seems the BE is a pretty substantial hardware improvement.

Or of course the cheapest option - just stick with the SK blue on its own!

Thoughts?

I would say at least you should buy the 720BE. The old Blue was sensitive to vibration and the new unit will improve performance and SL will work better with the updated sensors.

Sounds pretty good to me!

haha.

But seriously. 3.40 did major improvements, so the good ol' blue is better than it was. So you could first do the gps, then save up for the black. Or just do it all in one shot, because from what I've heard, the BE is amazing.

Hmm

Its true there is certainly an argument to pick up the BE. The GPS is more of just a nice thing to have, the sk720 itself is the very core of the heli.

It's also the cheaper option, especially once you feature in selling the old blue.

I must admit, the GPS seems extremely expensive... I didn't think it would be more than the BE itself.

But then everyone seems to love 3.4 in their old blues...

Trusty old blue, or amazing brand new technology, spank-tacular black? hmm

I'm sure there's definitely a used market still for the blue though. So you could make up some of the black price.

=] Zee, your flying skills (not being mentioned here?!) would appreciate the precision the BE has to offer, the blue/gps combo works well and opens up a whole new world to explore, but for you it has to be, BE!

Georgi georgi georgi, how did you know flattery was the route to my wallet?

Not sure it's correct, but I'm coming around to it. Start with the core then add outwards.

Long time no speak btw bud, have you seen my latest (8 months and counting!) build, I think you'd like it... I warn you though you'll need some time to go through it!

Okay okay... BE ordered along with a KDE 700XF, at least I got 11% off!

So, after I sell the Blue I can probably afford bread and water for this month.
