Yep, that's why I said MH was the most complete. I have the 4mm round boom and pro tail on the way. I absolutely hate the fragile square boom and the anemic stock tail assembly. I have the Lynx metal tail on my bird right now and it's so smooth. I expect the MH pro to be as good or better. I also hate the stock frame.
The 130x has become a pretty great bird, but for it to be great, you really need to choose your own components to get rid of what you don't like or you're going to absolutely waste a whole bunch of your time. For some people, stock is fine.

My favorite 130x of my 3, has only 3 items from HH.
The cyclic servos to swash adjustable rods, the 3in1board (with megasmicros upgrade bec so it's not standard either)and the tail pitch slider links. And it flies and behaves the best of the 3. Hopefully Xtreme will release a frame for rotary servos, then I can build one completely HH free.

lol! I was about ready to throw all my 130x crap into a pile and sell it as junk... until the xtreme frame arrived. Instantly sorted my first bird, and a day later, I have a 2nd MH build almost ready to fly and most of the parts for a completely stock 3rd... with some extra parts for maybe 4th. lol
I'm really not fond of how temperamental the linear servos are, but my main gripes are the clam shell frame and the complete stock tail group. Once the stock tail group sees a decent crash or moderate wear, it's a nightmare to get right. Once I got the first one fully sorted, the 2nd just came together so easily.

Blade 130 x
I just started flying helis about a year ago, and got to say that in my experience with other models that I bought / have, the most stable has been my Blade 130 x .... top of the line... it has taken some shots and that bad boy just broken tail fins and one of my tail gears ( not all ) .... My T-rex 150 on the other hand, here in Ontario, California, the wind tosses it out like a toy and it the none linear servos are not as durable as the ones in my 130 x.... and flying wise, it is not as responsive as per default settings which in my case makes it much harder to fly. it feels like you are chasing it" best described by Tom zadar" top of the line guy...
wish I had seen this post sooner but hopefully it will help some one else |

I crash once every 100 flights or so - what do you guys think about the 130 for an experienced flier? I've read some of the reports and weary of a money pit but wouldn't mind welcoming a small heli back into the fleet. Or is this truley one of those buyer beware deals? |

Yes I have had my fair share of headaches however for the most part if you don't crash it flies very stable!
