Default Great Weekend for Flying

After the initial let down of instant crashes on my previous two maiden Dragonus flights, I was able to burn three sticks with my Dragonus today albeit no canopy. It needs to be trimmed more accurately but I'm stoked! Credit goes to my mCPx, that baby rocks!

I plan to use my Dragonus spare to create a FBL bird. I'm thinking Beastx and Tarot head if the main shaft diameters are the same or RJX or Align head. Almost, everyone at my local fields use Beastx so its a no brainer for a newbie pilot.

Anybody else get their Dragonus flying? Happy Memorial Day!

Awesome, congratulations on the maiden flight. I am going to get a chance to fly a little later today if that weather holds out for me.
Have great Memorial Day and keep on flying,
DT

Thanks Tom. I did another three sticks today at Lunch, Woo Hoo! Time to purchase some more batteries! Any Dragonus owners plan on attending the Helifreak Funfly?

Hey Krimo, where do you fly? Need to get mine running again. I'm consumed with school and work. My days off I've been flying my sailplane at the bluff in LB. I need to get a set of lower frames, blades and a boom. After that I'll come out and join you. Alittle rusty on the heli sticks though...
Happy flying!!!

I flew my 4 bladed dragonus most of last week and a couple of times on Sunday when the weather sort of cleared. I was flying in a bit of rain and some fairly strong and gusty winds. Working out the last of the kinks before it goes into the 109 I have been working on for it. Finally bent the main shaft after a tip over on touch down while practising autos. I don't know why people are saying the shafts dont hold up. This one has been going strong for me and its not even a hardened one.
