Default AR7200BX compatible with Futaba S-Bus

Have a guy wanting to buy my Mini Protos with an AR7200BX on it, but he has a Futaba Tx and Futaba S-bus.

Will that setup work? My reading of the manual is that the AR7200BX requires a Spektrum satellite if one is to be used at all, no mention of connecting a Futaba receiver ... unlike the Microbeast systems that require a satellite and provide an option for Futaba.

Advice on this please.

Sorry, misread your post. I'll edit:

No, not compatible. The AR7200 doesn't speak futaba, need a 2.4 that'll talk to spektrum to make the AR7200 play.

The AR already has a built-in receiver. It wouldn't make sense to add another.

You need a regular BeastX

Default Thanks for sorting that one out ...

That sorts it and will save us a headache. Many thanks for quick and definite responses.

Can't piggyback receivers with the AR7200, it's integrated receiver initializes and talks to beastX, no other way.
