Edge 105mm vs Edge SE 105mm
Have yet to find any solid info on the SE tail blades?
I saw a blurb on them from Edge saying they are have an aerofoil designed for higher tail speed setups. Wondering if anyone with the 700 DFC or 700E V1/2 with 1 : 4.73 tail gearing had tried both the standard and SE and can comment on if there is any benefit for using the SEs on this setup? Here are the facts AFAIK. Weight, length and chord all the same. SE cost more and have less white on them so not as visible. But if they will be more stable at higher tail speeds (and hence the tail issues we are facing) I'll be all over them like a fat kid on cake

Did just notice that after posting this thread
So is there anyone from Team Edge in here who can comment? What is the difference between these blades except for paint job?

To the top. Still waiting for someone from Edge to chime in on this.

I read it has a better airfoil design for higher tail speed applications.

ddj74, it says that for both the normal ones, and the SE ones.
From their website I found this quote: "The new Edge "SE" Rotor Blades, were designed for the more advanced and aggressive 3D pilot in mind...no holds barred. Edge "SE" blades are quicker, and more suited for aggressive 3D flying styles, yet maintain their efficiency and stability in high speed flight. They're ready for anything, and they're ready for competition." - Kyle Dahl That's about the main blades, but they wanted to sell a matching set of tail rotors I guess.

Thanks blackout,
I had heard from a few people tar they think the differences are just cosmetic. I'm now scratching my head how they can justify the extra cost on a different paint job. Exclusivity?

My friend had a set of SE's on his 450 and I had the regular edge blades on my 450. they were both the same except the edge white design.
