Default What tools are required?

Can someone post up the exact size of the wrenches and drivers required to work on the 130x?

I'm trying to replace the crummy hex wrenches that came in the box with decent drivers. Seems like this info should be in the manual...but it's not.

The metal used on Eflite tools is too soft. The only hex driver you need is a 1.5mm. I have a set of Dynamite hex drivers and they have work flawlessly on all my helis.

Another vote for Dynamite. I've had their travel set for years, and love it.

+1 to this. I had a set of those E-Flite drivers and they did not last long.

I use Wiha regular and Phillips head drivers from Phil's hobby shop here that are now holding up very well. On the hex side, the MIP Thorp drivers came very highly recommended over in the T-Rex 250 forum because of how easy it is to strip the little screws on that heli so I have a set of those now and love them. A Main Hobbies is where I purchased my MIP drivers from and I have .9, 1.3, 1.5 and 2.5mm hex drivers. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the main blade screws and the tail screw on the 130X are 1.5mm hex screws. The other drivers I use on my 250 and 450 helis.

Funny you mention the Dynamite drivers, I actually ordered the hex set on top of the e-flite drivers:
http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...metric-DYN3080

Changing the feathering shaft takes two drivers anyways, figured why not.

Nope, I got one too, along with only half the velcro needed to secure my battery to the frame. I had to have gotten a Monday or Friday build.

The phillips from the mCPX tools in fact fits and works fairly well on the 130X.

The screwdriver that came with my 130x works great.

I just had to put a new handle on it. Balance it. Re-file the philips head and change the bearing on the little spinner on the top with an expensive aftermarket bearing.

Obviously anyone who doesnt think this is a great screwdriver is just a mal-content or a noob.

I believe he received a beta screw driver.
The one from my mCPX is a V2 improved model.
