That sounds about right. Basically the same setup I have in mine and 3:30 is all I get.

I am running an ICE 75 governed.

Higher capacity batts or a swap to a less agressive motor is about the only way to increase it.

I get about 4 minutes (voltage down to around 3.9 with 2600 gens ace 6s 25c) flying with a 14t pinion. Not sure of head speed but i run a flat 80% throttle. Although i don't do 3D nor much sport flying yet. So your run time for that size battery sound about right. Go up to a 3000 to 3000mah battery is your only option i imagine.

Running 100% throttle curve will give you less flight time.

But that's not with a 1400 I'm assuming. Also it better to run a smaller pinion with closer to 100%. More torque, less work for the esc

The 1400 is a known juice hog.. great motor, but draws more wattage...

1400.....Max Continuous Current80 AmpsMax Continuous Power1770 Watts

1600.....
Max Continuous Current70 AmpsMax Continuous Power1550 Watts
since spending $130 on a new motor isnt really an option alot of the time...battery and gearing might be your options...

I'll take 3:30minutes of intense, adrenaline packed flying over 4:30 minutes of average, everyday flying.

Yup 3:30 was all I was getting out of my 3026-1400... it is very greedy!

Bigger pack, like a 3000 will get you that extra minute or so...

Turning the HS down to 2600 might help a bit more???

My 450 with the scorpion 2221-8 will only give about 3:30 on a 2200mah battery running at about 3200rpm head speed. Its a trade off... power, or longer flight times.

Like everyone has said get a 1600kv motor like the scorpion 1600 or the align 500m/mx. Use a 13t pinion and your flight times will go up. I get almost seven mins a flight with my stock esp using 3000mah 20c packs..

1400 motor according to a tech sheet eats much more battery power in comparison with 1600 motor which I use actually.
