Default 450 pro with 3gx and dx6i

I have a 450 pro with the 3gx and using a dx6i. I can't seem to get the servo to move to the proper directions. I tried reversing the servo from my transmitter many differnt ways and still can't get them to go the right way. Anyone running this setup that can help?

I had this running the other day cause I pulled the ar7200bx from my 360cfx just to make sure that it was working since I just bought it used. I put the beast x back in my 360 cfx and I'm trying to make it work with the 3gx that it came with. Any feedbacks will be greatly appreciated.

if i recall correctly you want to get the servos moving together to produce the desired effect, i.e. if you push forward on elevator, then you want the one to move in a direction and the other two to move together in the opposite direction to tilt the swash (even if the direction is reversed it's OK for this step)

so - forward elevator tilts swash forward or backwards for now.

if not isolate the one that moves in the wrong direction and reverse that one, now you either have the swash moving correctly or completely reversed, if reversed then you need to change the swash mix value. (from + to - or - to +).

Hope this helps.

This question would have gotten a lot faster response in the 3GX forum. This isn't a very popular gyro anymore, its a bit of pain to setup the first time and it's known to have issues if you have any vibes. Below is the 3GX forum.

If you could post a bit more info it might help us to get to the bottom of this.

maybe first try don't reverse any of the servos and put swash mix to + number, then try forward elevator and tell us what each servo does:
- aileron
- elevator
- pitch

then we can tell which servo needs reversing and whether swash mix needs + or - value.

I have a dx7s and to revers the servos you need to go to the swash mix and take the value of the servos you need to reverse from positive to negative or visa versa. You can also check out Freddy can fly 3gx setup at YouTube. He does it with a dx8 but you may get some tips you can use.

I just set up same heli. First time with 3gx, but if you havent figured it out yet, its most likely in the servo mix setting, default numbers are +60 for elevator, aileron, and pitch, find out which one it is, and turn that to -60, that should reverse it. I only did it once a few weeks ago, but that sounds right. You will later adjust those numbers during setup. I watched a few.videos on youtube.. some by freddy can fly.. and another series. It was in there somewhere. 3Gx isnt bad, but i can see why people dont care for it. Just no as intuitive and straightforward as ar7200bx or others from what i hear. For the price tho they are super with v 5 on it. Cheers.!
