DX6 manual sucks
Had problem setting up a Beastx plus pro with the DX6. Problem was binding on 11 ms not 22 ms. The manual does not mention anything about what the difference is. Anybody know we're I could find a good explanation on 2.4 Mhz R/C radio theory.

The rates 11ms and 22ms - called "frame rates" have to do with how often the transmitter sends new information to the receiver.
2.4 GHz transmitters send information digitally, and they do so by sending frames or packets of information that essentially contain their identifier plus a numerical value for each channel. The frame rate determines how often those frames are sent to the aircraft in order to update the information coming from your controls. 22ms is the typical setting. In order to use 11ms, your electronics on the aircraft must be able to react to changes that quickly. Not all servos can handle changing their position every 11 ms. The other binding parameter, DSM2 or DSMX, refers to the communication protocol and dictates details such as how often the system changes frequencies and how many frequencies it will choose from. The major design theory behind the shared 2.4 GHz radio spectrum is that devices perform "frequency hopping" - they don't stay on the exact same frequency for much time. By hopping around and changing the frequency slightly, that minimizes interference with other radios in the same general frequency range. DSMX is newer and uses more frequencies. |

Also for most people, the manual may as well be written in Swahili for all the sense it makes.

It is a basic reference guide. Not a book to teach the basic concepts about how/why everything RC works the way it does.
Almost everything is explained multiple times somewhere in one of the forums. Try refining search procedures. It is almost all out there. It takes a little time and alot of patience sifting through it though.
