Default Firmware update issues

I'm having governor issues with my heli. I have the HW Platinum-150A Speed controller, Full size V-bar, Hyperion phase sensor and Scorpion HKIII-4025-1100KV motor. On initial start-up the motor accellerates briskly then dies off quite a bit before continuing to accelerate. I suspect a Software/Firmware issue but don't know how to resolve it.

When upgrading the software version for the program box I get the option to upgrade to V1.08_120504 and that uploads okay.

When attempting to upgrade the software version for the speed controller, the box on the right says the software version I need is the same as above but the Upgrade Version in the drop down box does not list V1.08_120504. The software version currently installed is V1.05_090905_U and the Hardware version is HW127_V1.0A. I don't know if this is an issue or not. Or if it will correct my governor issue.

Any help? Contacted Hobby Wing via email and they haven't responded.

Thanks for any help.

I'll be going through this with my 70HV very soon. I have the program box on the way, should be here any day. I hope we can both get our issues sorted out.

Got the box today and glanced at it and the instructions. I won't be able to do anything with it until I get back home on the computer. Looks like I need to discharge one of my old 6V receiver packs to power this unit.

Been trying different settings in the V-bar as suggested in videos by MrMel. In there he states that the governor settings I have are too low and dependent on the ESC. He says I need to re-set the endpoints (high RPM and low RPM) of the ESC. I don't see any way to do that either.
