For $2.99? Try it. If it works, let us know.

For the BeastX yes but not for AR7200BX.

Doubt it will work, but without further detail it is hard to say. What I can tell you is that the normal lead from BeastX contains a voltage regulator to provide the 3.3V regulated that is required by Spektrum for their satellites. So if it doesn't have one of these built in, which I kind of doubt, then not only might it not work, it may well damage your satellite, as you would be providing the satellite with your full MicroBeast/receiver voltage.

If you were using a clone satellite, not that I'm suggesting this, but some of them, apparently, are rated for 2S voltage, which if true would mean the additional voltage regulator would be unecessary, as presumably there must be one built in. I have no personal experience of this, but I did read it. I would probably only be prepared to use one of the clones on my 250, and nothing bigger, but I know people do.

As far as the AR7200BX is concerned then this doesn't even apply. The AR7200BX is already a Spektrum receiver, and requires only the normal satellite extension lead, which simply has one of those small JST(?) connectors at each end, as available from Spektrum.

Cheers

I bet it provides 3.3v. It's designed to work with a "dsm2" sat. It must have a regulator under that shrink wrap. Because it's for a ZXY doesn't change the needed voltage for the sat. Fortunately it shares the needed connectors. I could be wrong,, but I'd be willing to wager I'm right.

I'm glad to see this option, I think the Beastx sat adapter is a total ripoff.
