Default let's play a game: count the problems in this video

Let's play a game, called "count the errors":

See how many bad choices in this video. You are not eligible if this is you piloting the bird as you may have insight that is unfair.

yeah.....and how about the two bystanders (swimmer and one who grabed it).....grabbing it by the rotors.....a wet fully armed electric heli that has been in for a dip. Quite courageous!

I have seen electric rc boats at races take off parts of fingers....and they are MEANT to be in the water, but water and electrics don't mix.

At least the pilot was very quick to pull the battery once he got to it :-)

Well, he started off OK. Seemed far enough from people and in the confines of back yard. Then:

1) Flew above people heads as evidenced by the "rain".
2) Too close to guy in pool
3) Too close to two guys under awning.
4) Let guy in pool retrieve, probably unaware of the danger.

What didn't bother me:
1) Electronics in pool. Its his problem if he hurts the heli.
2) Vinyl pool liner at risk. Again, his problem.
3) His overall flying. Had good control till the end.

Only one problem that I see... anyone with the technical prowess to put two NERF tubes on his 450 to use as floats, who then is able to fly with that skill level in spite of the fact that his 450 had two NERF tubes as floats, should have known it would all turn out badly in the end. I mean really. The universal laws of Fate demand it.

The only thing missing was the "bad-doom-bump-bump" drum roll when he finally puts it under...

Agreed. I have to think he pretty much knew how it would end up. And he got it on video!
LOL.

The yellow siding and the neighbors house clash. Like 6 feet between houses?

I think the only issue here is these guys really don't have anything else better to do. It's not all the entertaining and I can only imagine how much fun that really is.

And capi? Servos, rx, battery, bearings, basically the whole heli for min. of $500 bucks.

Um, yea, it's only like setting 5 $100 bills on fire and saying, yea it was just $450 cause I got $50 worth of fun out of it.

Well, and I didn't see any suntan lotion anywhere in that video, so those guys with the farmers tans, I imagine they will get burns...

Oh, and the heli thing was a little unsafe too. I don't trust wet electronics, you'll never see me trying to fly above water with any of my helis. At least they were all aware of their own risks and were involved voluntarily, the worst kind of unsafe heli flying is when the folks around don't know how dangerous it can be.
