Hi festa
I replaced the boom on mine this morning and noticed when I removed the tail gear the was a lot of buildup I think from the belt in the tail gear it had baked on fairly hard maybe it has done that on yours and the bearing has then over heated or seased with the fine particles ??? Cheers watho

Help with tail servo
Guys I need some help. I'm new to 3 d helicopters. I crashed my v450 d03 and bent the tail boom. I have a mechanic background so replacing parts wasn't hard for me. I replaced the parts and took the helicopter out to fly. I noticed after getting it off the ground and hovering fine I gave it a quick collective up and the tail spun to the rightquite a bit and I corrected. I did it again to make sure it wasn't me turning the hellicopter. When I get the heli up high and let down on the collective to fast it turns then as well. Any solutions to the problem. Reconfigure settings in transmitter?
Does anyone one have a procedure for setting up the entire tail after reasmbly? Things to check and adjust? I'm nervous to fly the heli much until I get it fixed. Thanks for the help. Last edited by AustinR; 02-14-2015 at 03:29 PM.. |
