Default Advice Aurora 90 nitro swash conversion

Hi all,

If I switch the head from FB to FBL, do I only need to swap heads or do I need to do any other specific mods? I am trying to go from a FB head to a FBL rigidcore head. I got brand new links for the rigid core head and the head itself, but do I need anything else, like different swash plate or links or anything?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Enrico

I know when i changed my electric from FB to FBL, All i changed was the head. I would think the nitro should be the same. You will need to change the ball spacing on the servo horns.

The swash will need new longer balls on the servo side I believe and you will move the servo wheel balls in although I don't remember the spacing off the top of my head but if you search the forum that's where I found it.

I can't seem to find the swash balls on Carbon Xtreme's website, they are identified as M3 long ball on my instruction sheet but no part # is given. They are 10mm from mounting surface to center of ball.

On my Aurora, I'm using the 6-sided Futaba servo horns with the balls in the middle holes, the spacing is ~10.5mm from center I believe.
