Sorry didn't notice this thread but posted about these on another thread. I'd just like to post a link to it here in case people are searching for these props specifically:
https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=493134

Give them a try ZIMMY1958. They flew great for me (1 flight so far).

hope they turn out to last ( not explode ) like the video implies. if so they should be a good ( cheap & efficient ) prop at 1/3 the price of graunpers.

Got some and they look good to me. Now how do I get them mounted on a 6mm shaft with that flat spot in there?

If 6mm is the stock dji motor diameter, I had to push really hard on 2 of my props to get them into place. Had to push way harder than I thought so I just lined up the notch and did it carefully by pushing on the center ring and not the prop part.

I flew today with these and still flying good and getting good video.

Sorry I should have said I have non-DJI motors with 6mm shafts. These are 8mm with flats inside.

you should be able to find adapters for different size shafts I think gemfan and others come with them and file a flat on them

I didn't think of filing a flat on them. And my shafts are actually 5mm not 6mm. I ordered some 8>5mm adapters and a 8mm prop reamer to clean out the flats.

Looking forward to trying these!!

where can I get some of these props?? how does it compared to graupners? Igot some 9x5 on my 450 quad running 4S and my jello went away.. I had it on my discovery frame which may be good for FPV but for filming, too much jello. I gave up spendning several hrs, and $50 just on some foam pads/moon gel etc..

You can get the props here. For jello look into this possible fix. I bought this ND filter just today because I can't fit the 55mm on my setup.

I just got a F450 kit from Heliproz.

Is there a visible difference betwen the old and the new?

I'd like to know before I take it out flying.

Default Blades

I don't believe the kits have the new blades in them yet, at least mine didn't (last week).
Old blade on top. New blade on bottom.

Thanks. Mine look like the old ones in your photo.

Guess I'd better hunt down some new ones while I'm waiting on my KK2 controller to arrive. I can use the old ones to make sure I have all the motors setup right for now.

BTW - Where did you get your new ones from? I've been reading there are some bad clones of those and the Gemfam props people recommend.

I don't like them. they have a lot less pitch to them than the older one.

I didn't realize that the name 1038 actually means 10" propeller with 3.8 pitch.

I like the old pitch way better, 10" 4.5 pitch. A lot more punch.

Oh well, Live and learn. Funny I flew planes for over 20 years and already knew this.
But I guess it didn't sink in.
I feel stupid now.

3.8 pitch should be fine for light lift--a direct mounted GoPro and nothing else. I wouldn't use them on a setup much heavier than that.

I just ordered some of the 1038's myself and I have high hopes for them. I think with DJI wanting to improve their reputation after their last props, these new props will probably be made very well--better than many other brands out there. But that's just my guess.
