Default 6hvu parts

I thought that experience RC was the new distributor and we were told parts would be in supply. Every part I need is out of stock or worse not even an available part (e.g. Frames). I know prostar use to be a distributor and has some parts remaining.
Where are people in the US ordering parts from?

You can order from RedGumRC in Australia... The new owner, Lighty is here on HF. Here is a link to the 6HVU parts page: http://www.redgumrc.com.au/index.php...ort=20a&page=2

ExperienceRC is the new Compass Distributor in NA. Here is the announcement made last September: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=758397

pherasi1 in addition to the 6HVU frames what other parts were you unable to find from ExperienceRC's store front? ExperiencRC is still in the process of stocking up on parts for some models.

Hi Cyclo,

Do you know if Experience RC is going to be getting any more 6HVU parts soon? I've actually sent emails to them that went unanswered previously in regards to specifically the frames.

I really love my 6HVU but if I cant get parts easily, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

pherasi1, I have posted your inquiries to the Compass Reps group. I should be getting an answer soon.

Note that if you are willing to wait a little longer for the parts to be delivered, I just checked both Compass Shop (HongKong based) and Compass Australia and both sites have the 6HVU/550U frames available.

I have ordered a couple times from both before (at the time Compass Australia was RedGumRC) when I could not find parts here in North America and I never had any problems apart from the aforementioned longer delivery times and slightly higher shipping costs.

EDIT: I just realized it will be Chinese New Year soon so ordering from the Compass Shop might mean longer delivery times.

Thanks cyclo! I found the frames and thank you for pointing out the other shops. I was hesitant to order from them but sounds like they are ok. Still rather get parts in North America. Thanks again!

You can also try Weston in the UK, RCHeli-Store in Germany or a few others (Weston have a weird website; email them if you have difficulties):

Which canopy do you have? I'm looking for the light blue and red one. Thank you for your time and response.

Steve is absolutely determined to keep a good stock of spare parts for the current Compass models, plus the 6HV-U and the 550-U.

He is doing an excellent job of it!
