Its all about muscle memory. I fly the sim the same as real life. You also dont want to overdo it on the sim. I do about an hour a day. If you feel you are not progressing watch some youtube vids of good pilots and practice their routines. Helps with bring in new moves and not having you feel like you are doing the same things over and over.

How are you pending the 4-5 hours a day? It's not the time, but how you use it.

15 mins per session is usually enough. you get limited benefit over 4 x 15 min sessions with breaks of 15 mins between. It's all about how the brain works.

Do you have a goal for each sim session? Something you are trying to achieve?

Do you keep track of progress? Do you make a sim recording every couple of weeks to realise how far you have come?

Do you fly IRL? How is your transition from sim to IRL?

Do you fly with the interlink, or your own transmitter. Own transmitter helps in IRL transition.

The more you focus the effort on what you want to achieve, the more you will achieve.

Try to be more specific than simply saying "becoming better". Set more and smaller specific goals. For example: "Become comfortable with pirouetting hover by the end of next week". It's SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timebound.
