Help needed - cannot upgrade

I'm stuck at 2.5k, the last full version they put out. I can download the upgrades and new birds but it looks like the installer never runs. Is there some way to start the installer by hand?

If that doesn't help you should contact Phoenix support at support@phoenix-sim.com

They respond quickly (usually by the next day) and should be able to get you going in the right direction!

After doing a fresh install of Windows 7 awhile back and re-installing Phoenix I had to download the K and N updates and manually run them. After that the auto update worked fine.

Thanks for the help. The manual update didn't work, so I sent them an e-mail. When you guys download the updates, are you getting small files like 2 or 3MB?

We have discovered a small issue with the auto-updates system on a small
number of computers.

Please can you do the following:

- Download the following fix to your desktop:
http://www.phoenix-sim-files.com/fil..._patch_001.exe
- Once the file has downloaded, install the patch by double-clicking
the downloaded file and following the onscreen instructions
- Once the fix has been installed successfully, run Phoenix
- Go to the system > check for updates menu, and toggle the show
installed updates checkbox on
- Highlight the install button beside any updates you installed
previously (or click Select All to install all updates)
- Click the install button in the bottom-right of the menu to
reinstall these updates

Please let us know if you encounter any further issues after doing the
above.
