Thanks!!!! The maiden went very well, I still have a big grin on my face. The engine was a bit fussy at first because I had it too rich, but as soon as I got it dialed in for beak-in, it started right up and ran like a freight train. Electronics and hardware set up required absolutely no adjusting, not even one click of trim for a dead-on hover, THANKS AGAIN FINLESS AND HELIFREAK.
Flew about 1/2 gallon through extremely rich, but tried idle 1 at the end of the day and flew it around and it is really a smooth machine. THe JR7703d gyro was phenominal and even in 30mph wind, the tail was absolutely locked. I will post pics of the maiden flight when I get them off the camera.

I can't compare it to anything but my 450, but after my first flights today, I have to say that I did not expect to be as happy with it as I am. Everything is perfect, no trim, gyro is rock solid, and the motor ran great. I'd say that I'm a happy camper.
Now I jsut need to get the old lady to let me go play at the flying field again tomorrow!!!

wrex;

Sorry to hear about the snow!!! I know your heart was set on today. I can tell you one thing, the 600N love to play in the snow!! To see the main blades kick up snow on landing is sweet!!! Maybe you can do it during the week?? Take the heli to work and go right to the field after.

stg099;

Now when people look at you and ask why you have that big grin on your face, just point to the 600N!!!
I still get that grin everytime I fly my 600N!!!
My wife call the 600N, the other woman!!!!!
Have fun with your heli!!!

Heli Joe,

You should submit the following two pictures to RR's April photo contest... The winner goes in Model Aviation's magazine for that month... Great photos, especially the first one. Here's the link(forgive me for my sin):
