1) Put bind plug in BAT port on receiver
-or-
Put switch harness in BAT port and put bind plug in other end of harness

2) If using switch, turn it on
If not usin switch, plug battery into any other port

Reciever will have a flashing light. (if 7000, both halves will have flashing)

3) Press and hold bind plug on back of Transmitter; while still holding this button, turn on power switch

4) Within about 3-5 seconds, receiver light will go solid (and if you have servos hooked up, you will suddenly have control) (if 7000, wait for both halves to go solid)

5) Let go of button, turn everything off, remove bind plug.

That's it. One time operation. From then on, TX on first, RX on second, they will "link" and have control in about 2-3 seconds.

A couple of hints:

If for any reason they don't link (and just occasionally they won't because they run a whole bunch of quality checks every startup), just power cycle everything and they'll link up next time.

Remember "model memory"; if you are on the wrong model, they won't link. Switch to correct model, power cycle TX (only) and they'll link.

Startup positions for all servos (and failsafe for throttle) are memorized at bind time. Be sure you have the controls where you want them. For this same reason, if you make MAJOR setup changes, consider re-binding. In particular, in a heli, re-bind after you have your full gyro setup working (so gyro will init properly).
