Trimming the aileron on a 3G FBL
I have a Trex500 with a 3G FBL. With all my transmitter trims centered, while in a hands off hover, the heli rolls slightly to the right requiring me to hold a tiny bit of left aileron to keep it in a nice, flat hover. I have been trying to avoid adding transmitter trim for compensation (because my understanding for the tail gyro is that this is to be avoided and made the assumption that this may be the same for the cyclic - maybe an incorrect assumption though).
Mechanically, the setup is a good as I can make it. Linkage angles, servo arm angles, swash plate leveler...all the best I could. What should I do next? Is it OK to add the transmitter trim for the final compensation? Is this appropriate when there's gyros controlling the cyclic?

Did you update to the latest june 28th firmware? It is ok to use 1 or two clicks of trim...

Should not be needed. Yesterday after a rebuild I got the same. When I spin the 3G on the bench the ail went a bit to the left.
Reprogrammed the max ele and ail throw. Now it's gone.

Have you tried turning up your gain?

What gain settings are you running? Also what did you use to level the swash, Its ok to trim to fix a problem, but you should try to solve it by a mechanical fix first. Sometimes it just a simple turn on one of your links. The swash maybe off just a little, enough to cause a drift. You can add trim then bring it down take the trim out and see how much of a mech adjustment you would have to make, check your links. Im sure its a simple fix somewhere.

Thanks for the suggestions. My gain has been anywhere from 35 to 50%(10 o'clock to noon on the pot). Not much difference between the amount of drift regardless of the settings. I level the swash with an aluminum, main shaft, three pronged leveler (sorry cant remember the brand).
I would adjust the linkages but, since this is a drift to one side, how would I adjust the linkages of an 120 eCPPM?. There isn't a linkage that will just work on the roll without also working on the pitch(not collective).
