Default Prantraco Prop Replacement?

Who wants to take one for the team?

http://www.skyhooks.ca/props.htm#PROP-TURBO

Shipping is $10 for me to get 3 of them.... a bit much.

Dylan, your links don't work but from the description seems like it's the same ones I'm going to link to HobbyKing.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...6pcs_set_.html

Those are the GWS DD2508 props. My previous experience with GWS prop is that they aren't very durable. Unlike the RRC prop though the GWS prop don't break because the blades are thin. They break because there's no molded "support braces" (like the 120SR has) and the blades are thick like the 120SRs so the whole blade break from the center. And because the blades themselves are heavy like the 120SRs they will be like the 120SRs which aren't as responsive as the RRC. The good things about the GWS prop are that they have the progressive pitch profile the 120SR doesn't have (which can be custom-bent to shape), they're bright orange, and cheap if you buy them from HobbyKing.

There's a wealth of information in this forum. Maybe a liitle difficult to find immediately, but spending some time sifting through it can be very worthwhile.
The Plantraco has been established as the best tail prop to use in terms of the performance it gives, as opposed to all the others that have already been tested.

Then comes along someone who decides there is a substitute...... a new discovery..... shame it's the same old same old....

Actually it looks like all E's entire site is down at the moment. And yes, they are the GWS 2.5x.8 and 2.5x1.0 props, for 75 cents each.

I tried them against the cut down 120 SR blade and they werent as good.

Dylan
