Default rx2703h-d heading hold?

Hi folks,

Can someone with a rx2703h-d confirm something for me?

When the heli (v450d03) is powered up, but not spun up, no matter what value I give the gyro gain the tail doesn't hold. On every other gyro I have, when in HH mode, the tail will move and hold position until you flip it to rate mode, or physically move the tail.

So either I'm having an issue, or this is just the way the 6-axis gyro works. ??

When I get it up into a hover, it does hold direction and when I fly it sure doesn't feel like rate mode...

Thanks in advance!
Hex

Exclamation

I know this is a very late reply but I also experienced the same problem
so this post reply is for those people who don't know want to do.
In short your rx2703h-d is faulty . I know and the worst thing is the cost of this junk is 125$ which is almost 50% of the price of my Walkera V450D03.
I also had few crashes due to this fault and if you are interested you can read them here http://hobbylogs.me.pn/wp/?p=57

Peace out

I have about a dozen flights on my v450d03 with no problems. (had a minor crash, but totally my error on the sticks).

My rx2703h-d has given me no trouble at all, it's been very stable.

So I wouldn't say I have a problem, just that this particular FBL system seems to act differently for HH and Rate modes than I'm accustomed to. Maybe it is a problem, but it's not like the issue you were having with some of the channels cutting out.

Default Fixed ID cancellation problem on Rx2703H-D

Hello,
I just bought a crashed V450D03 to use as a second bird. I am having problems cancelling the Fixed ID on this receiver.
Normally to perform the Fixed ID cancellation on a Walkera receiver one should insert the Bind Plug in the battery channel and then connect the power in order to get a slowly flashing light that signals the cancellation.
The problem is that the Rx2703H-D does NOT have a battery channel. The manual states that the bind plug should be inserted into the ELEVATOR channel. I have tried it several times, but I cannot get the receiver to flash slowly.
I have read on several posts and in Youtube that some people have had the same problem.
Does anybody know how to cancel the Fixed ID???
Any help will be appreciated,
Helifan

Dude, start your own thread instead of trying to hijack this one.

Hex, I think this is normal for this fbl unit when the heli isn't spun up, mine does this also.
