I just always liked the SR despite it not being that great, It is just fun to fly and cheap to fix. It's been over a year since I've had one.

Welcome back jack!!. If you want to make your SR a really high performance machine. I know a guy who is selling a couple high performance blade CP's cheap, that you could use the parts from, servo's, motors and esc's, that would make your heli scream.......J

The 300 X I got made me take another look at all my 300 class helis. Looking at my SR I decided that a motor and 2 in 1 from an SR would probably work for my CPP2 and then I could cycle down the motor and 2 in 1 to my old CP. Imagine having a super lightweight SR!!

I did the same thing when I up graded my SR's to high performance, I used the SR motor and esc for the CP pro. I found that there is atleast a 2.5 ounce savings using a 850ma battery. I also took 1 1/2 inches off of the boom and changed out the gyro for one of the 401 clones. The stock CP pro motor is around 86 grams and I think the SR motor is around 35. With the 401 clone gyro, you also do not need to mess with adjusting the mixing pot on the esc........J
ps. I have 2 high performance CP's for sale if you want to wade in the deep end.
