Default How do you know that your Dx6i is charging or is fully charged??

There is no light indicator that I can see. It seems the manual says to leave it charging over night . I have not heard that before . I have always seen instructions say to charge for a certain amount of time and to not over charge. I see no mention of that in the manual or any way to tell the progress of the charge.
What do you guys do with your radios ??
My radio came with spectrum 4 NiHm 1.2 AA.

You charge the DX6i overnight, that's how it's designed. I could get into details about how a NiMh chemistry works and why it is OK to leave it charging for a day of three, but instead I will just say, charge it overnight.

If you want a faster charge, you will need to get a battery holder for those AA batteries and you will need to make a cable to match your faster charger.

The radio should have a voltage display when you turn it on.

I did a bit of looking, those batteries are pretty overcharge resistant if you charge them slowly, (1/10C) Which is what I assume the included charger does. I would charge overnight and not worry about it.

I think the included charger is only charging at 50 milliamps or so, while the batteries are 1500, so that's way below 1/10 C, It's like 1/30C.

Charging MiMh/NiCd batteries this slowly will not damage them under any normal usage conditions, you can leave it charging for a week or longer and nothing will happen. I think this sort of slow charge can be used to rescue out of balance packs with symptoms of capacity loss or ones that false-peak.

Dont you have a charger for your flight packs?
That charger can charge the packs in your radio too.
Just make your a jack that fits and your ready to charge from your computer charger.
Only dissadvantage with charging NiCd ore NiMh in the radio is it can not cycle the batteries as there is a diode in the radio plug that prevent discharging thrue the plug.
But charging works like a charm.
