I was surprised by something with my setup on the X5. The first couple outings I've stayed in normal mode and landed traditionally. Today I decided to land with a mini-auto from about a foot up. I hit throttle hold and it changed the pitch so that the heli popped up a little, it caught me by surprise. Got it under control and landed OK.
I thought I had the pitch curves so there wouldn't be a change when I hit TH. Any suggestions?

If the pitch curves are the same in both flying modes it could not happen. Maybe a mix in your transmitter is active, for example a hovering pitch mix.
Make sure all unnesesary mixes are turned off. What transmitter are you using? (Sorry for my english) |

Thanks for the tip, I'll check that out. I'm using a DX-8.
