New speed machine in 2014
Jan says the new machine will be presented at Rotor Live in March 2014. My grandfather told me life would go by fast enough once I was his age. I think he lied. It's going to be a long 6 months

All waiting!!!! Wonder how this will compare to Banshee, which is actually a great all-rounder and not just speed?

Speed machine meaning?? Will it be just some speed canopy or a completely new machine?

Completely new. Jan says it shares little from the TDR.

What I was told at IRCHA by Ollie was that it has a lot of completely new and unique design features and would be like nothing we have seen before. He suggested that I would be very impressed when I saw the final design. I did ask Jan if the tail was at something besides a 90 degree angle to the main shaft since I was curious about the "for speed only" comment. He said it was still at 90 degrees. I believe the main reason for "speed only" may be because the full fuse has a lot of drag for piro manuevers. I would "guess" that might mean that the tail section is part of the fuse and structural for weight and not just something that wraps around a boom, but that is just a guess. I'm looking forward to seeing the big reveal. I'm sure it will be very cool engineering.

I just came back from the airfield flying my Protos, then E5, then TDR and finally the Banshee. I think I just swallowed my heart back down. Grinning from ear to ear! It will be worth the wait....

Only crappy part is...my pyro 750-56 comp motor arrived today...looks like its not recommended for the banshee....mmmmmm...not keen to buy another motor again...so maybe ill just swop the 750-50 from the TDR with the 750-56 comp...but then i need to swop out the helijive with my kosmik too...my max spike i have at this stage with the 750-50 is 82A....wonder what the 750-56 will do and if the helijive will cope...will run some tests and decide
