Default NEW CF boom for Blade 300X and 450X.

The new Special CF booms
(high quality Carbon Fiber and epoxy)
come for all 4 set ups. 300X, 300X stretched, 450X, 450x stretched. Strong enough to eliminate the boom clamps and supports and still be strong enough to produce more tail authority than the aluminum booms threw a stiller and even more crash resistant boom. While delivering lighter tail weight for a more easily tuned CG.

One nice thinks with this new reinforced tail boom is that you can use it without tail boom clamp and supports. In particolar when you install on the cf main frame..

the only thing is I have found with my lynx frame the heli is nose heavy. I had to put the esc right under the shaft to get it to balance.

I'm on the other end of the spectrum. Both my 300 and 450 were tail heavy. (before I did adjustments) I look forward to being able to mount my lipo back farther on both birds.

My 450 I run my lipo backwards with wires on end by the motor and use a Velcro tie to keep them from flopping into motor. Just so I can move it down the canopy more without pinching wires. It will be nice to not have to do this.

Thank you Lynx.

P.S. I love both my Lynx build 300 and 450 but this will make them even BETTER.

It arrived today, put it on and wow it makes the rear seem clean. I didn't put any of the supports or the servo rod support on it. For my own personal taste I think I would have liked it to be clear coated in a gloss so it is shiny but other than that, I'm loving the look of the heli now.

Its a clean look for sure, I think I would have liked it to be clear coated in a gloss so it is shiny too. That would have made the CF weave pop out more.
Either way looks good, enjoy

Default NEW CF boom for Blade 300X and 450X.

That looks so cool! That's one of my biggest pet peeves! Boom supports. I'm glad somebody solved that problem.

I would severely trim the tail fin to a stick just to keep the rotors from touching the ground n have the tail blades a lil loose.
