Head wobble
I try to tune the CGY750 for F3C.In the iddle up head spead (1840) range it works fine , but in the hover head speed (1480-1520) I have a wobble on elevator (F3C mode) or elevator and aileron (3D mode).
I have a different behaviour in F3C and 3D mode. When I use the F3C mode I need to tune down the stab gain from 5 to 3. The only problem I have then is a low frequency wobble on elevator.Tried different settings but I can't get rid of it. In 3D mode I have a low frequency wobble on aileron and elevator. When I up the head speed to +1600 rpm all works fine. Any Idea ? JR FORZA , BLS252 and BLS251 , 9° cyclic pitch SBUS & T14SG. 58% swach rate / 42% Pitch rate / Gain hover 65% I use the same Forza head on my Sylphide with VBAR and this works fine. |

Use 3D mode. Use bank switching for hover. Reset your hover dual rate to 100%. Reduce your hover swash rate to 35-40% which will give you the needed softer feel for hover and let you crank up the gain without a wobble. I can run 150% head gain on my model with no wobble that way. Fine tune the swash rate for hover up or down a little bit as needed to get your piros flat.

Thought the SWS rate is recommended in the manual according to the heli size.
In my Sylphide and Forza speed(heads are the same) that wobbles in hovering, I just reduce the head response. In F3C mode, I got wobble only in elevator, I was able to keep Head response at 1 with gain at 80% for the Aileron. I do not run the gains same for Aileron and Elevator. Next time i will try lower the swash rate instead of the Head Response in order to keep the gain. Swash rate set according to manual in V2.0 F3C mode. To the OP, did you use the pitch arms come standard with Forza 700 kit? |

Suggested static cyclic pitch and associated swash rate in the manual assume aerobatics. What I suggested works for contest hovering and exploits the benefits of bank switching. Use the suggested manual settings for your aerobatic bank.
