Sorry for the late reply, had to get some more flights on it before commenting...

I like the Xera 4035 alot. It seems to have more power than the Pyro, however it gets a little warmer. Still no problem holding my hand on it after a flight. It should be said that the TDR sports a naca duct, Diabolo not.
No issues with the Jive.

Thinking of getting a Xera 4530 or Scorpion Ultimate for the Diabolo, and put the 4035 in the TDR...

You'll probably need to pull the antenna leads back until the exposed part of the antenna is even with the end of fingers on the mount. As it is, they will hit the canopy. You might need to bend it down some too. Mine only protrude about 10mm outside the frame and just clear the canopy. It'll be a little trial and error once you get your canopy. Looking good.

Thx, for now it's good as you mentioned once I get canopy I'll fit it all to that for a clean look. Also one other thing, I did need to sand the main shaft quite abit to fit the swash on, much more so then any other kit I've ever had, you fellas run into that as well?

Rain today so could not even get any more time on it, I am also waiting for pinions etc so I can utilize the helijive and Vbar gov etc..

I put the swash in the oven for 15 mins., in order to expand it that little bit extra for easy fitting.

And the ball stayed "larger"? How is that good for te retaining glue that holds bearing in though?

..
My swash was fine - most likely the mast was slightly out of tolerance - just a hundredth of a mm grinding down the shaft can cause binding

Mine fit fine. The only fitting I had to do was extend the 4 motor mount slots on the frame forward about 1mm. The pinion was always engaged until I did this.

My main shaft was tight on the bearings but swash was ok.

Just heated it to 70-80 degrees C, and put little bit of grease on top of mainshaft. Slipped right on, no issues. Could not get it entered when cold, no way.

The slight expansion of the swash ball helped me line up the swash to the mainshaft, in getting it going. The tolerance was so tight that the swash ball had to be perfectly lined up with mainshaft, but it is loose enough not to cause binding.

Just a few hundredths of a mm...

Is the double boom support part of the kit or a mod you made? I always saw only one fixed to the center and pretty high.

Thanks Shawn. Had to change all my receivers for this radio.
Dug into my 2nd kit for parts, had the same problem with the main shaft. Swash plate is tight going up and down along the shaft. Put end of main shaft on cordless drill with chuck, spun it with fine grit sandpaper wrapped around the shaft. Smooth now.

Marcosp,
Double boom supports are part of the kit.
