What is a good alternative to the Align 510 digital servo with nylon gears that comes with the 500? I want to go metal gear. Thanks!

align 510 metal gear set. I've heard it's a drop in replacment.
Cheap too.

+1 just buy the M gear set

But I would stick to nylon myself. I like having a $3 breakable part protecting the rest of the head.

And there is no change in performance with either gear set.

I use these http://www.jrradios.com/Products/Def...dID=JRPS3717HV and they are sick. Super centering, the speed and torque is underrated and will take any abuse you can throw at them. I have a lot of flights and they are still tight. The MKS servos may not be as reliable, from my experience.
