Here is the podcast that covers the 200 SR X and the other announcements.

Fast forward to 50 mins to listen to when Steve gets on.

I like the look of the 3 blade tail rotor.

Kpod, sorry I meant efficient, not effective, (corrected, above) as in he was giving reasons for and against and the 2 vs 3 rotor props, and the 3 rotor won for them, so thats what they were going with so far. I hope that clears it up, my bad.

But also like I was saying you can feel free to try the regular SR prop once you get one and see for yourself, cover all the bases, maybe some will like the wider 2 rotor prop for visual reference? Although the 3 rotor prop should show up darker if you will, yet smaller diameter.

I think making a new 3 rotor prop is great especially if we can just swap it for a SR 2 rotor prop if we feel like it.

I wonder what other parts are shared with the SR? (I feel a challenge coming!)

No parts from the SR are shared. (as far as I can remember on a Sunday morning.) -edit, Saturday

Your memory is not good. It's Saturday morning, not sunday

I was only mentioning the sr due to size of heli with motorized tail.

Wow, poor Brian must be very overworked with those new releases coming out! Haha. That really made me laugh.

I figured since they share the SR nomenclature, maybe they share some parts too, guess not.
That 2 rotor tail prop looks very similar to the SR one, down to the mounting and curvature of the rotor tips.

Hay, I think it's almost Sunday in China!?

I'm going to get a fleet of srx200's and convert them to crop dusters. (We have like hundreds of farms around here). Or I could at least do some weed control maybe.....I try to stay productive.

I had a chance to hold the Blade 200 SR X in my hot little hands on Sunday at E-Fest. Looks well made and the size is just about perfect for indoor flying. Can't wait until they're available.

In fact, I asked Brian if I could have the display model so I could be a 'beta tester'. He said "Ah... NO!"

Hey, can't blame a guy for trying!

You'll cry if you lose your heli in the crops. 2 hours I spent looking for my 130X and it was not 100 yards in front of me. Grass was only 6 inches high. Be careful!

I really hope they come out with some nice scale fuselages for this heli. It would make a nice relaxed flying type scale heli and I bet you could get some pretty good flight times despite the added weight if flown in a gentle scale manner. The Blade SR Huey was a good looking scale heli even though the SR part of the heli wasn't the greatest.

Honestly if they made lightweight fuses they wouldn't have to be terrible strong given how easy this heli should be to fly. A little MD500 would be nifty to have around.
