black friday sales at HD?

Hi. I was hoping someone could give me a heads up on what kind of sales to expect on black friday at helidirect? I just bought oxy3 from HD and now i need servos motor and battery.. was hoping to catch those on sale but kinda want to order soon too. Trying to figure out if i should wait or just start ordering things now. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Typically a 10% off code will be offered for all major Holidays at HD. Sometimes higher, but 10% seems to be the average. There will some exclusions for certain items or kit brands, so you will need to read the fine print.

They typically have some higher discount sales on specific items they are wanting to move as well.

I'm in the same boat and have my cart waiting until next week so I can at least take advantage of the 10% discount

I hope its more than 10%. Amain has 10% off pretty much every day of the year. Some sale prices plus 10% would be nice. At least they are better than places like anythingheli, who never seems to have a discount.

Ive seen the Christmas discounts go as high as 20% in years past, but not so much the last couple years.

They have also done "pre-sales" where they offer a 10% discount early and then start to increase the discount the closer you get to the actual holiday, although waiting may mean what you want goes out of stock so its a gamble to either wait or jump on it quickly.

I'm hoping I'm wrong for this year, but about 10% is all I was able to get for the T Giving/Christmas holiday last year no different than for July 4th, Labor day and the others

Pay attention to the prices too. They just upped the price on their Quantum motors that are discounted "up to 45% off!" So, while you're still getting a sale price, the discount is more like 25%. I don't really get this, since a 25% discount is still pretty good. I guess people see 45% and buy stuff that they hadn't really planned to, since it was "such a good deal".

Also, a lot of their discounts don't apply to combos, so you may get better pricing by getting the items individually. For instance, the BK micro servo combo (3 cyclics + 1 mini tail servo) has a 5% discount built in to the price, but you can't add the 10% holiday discount to it. As you can imagine, the individual servos sell out really fast.

It's valid but only for items that are not already discounted. For example the JR Forza 700 kit is selling for $675 which is already discounted by $75 from the regular price of $750 so the code is not valid for that item. During checkout the BF code is only applied to eligible items in your cart.
