Anyone with Robird G31 experiance?
I decided to go flybarless. Got a Tarot head and a Robird G31 system but am having no luck with it. I've followed the Hobby King video instructions and it's not doing what the video shows. In video 5 it shows the receiver and Robird connected as shown in the setup program and mine is connected in the same way. He powers the receiver and the Robird then has a flashing green light, then another light goes green and then the status light turns blue.
Mine has the flashing green light, then the solid green light, then status light goes red. There's no instructions for this. I've done exactly as instructed but now I'm stuck. When he powers the receiver it looks like he's using a battery with red and black lead wires but nothing is ever said about this battery or it's voltage. I power mine with the flight battery wired through the factory ESC that's unplugged from the motor on the heli. This is the only difference I see. Otherwise the 450 is still stock except for HiTec servos. So what now? Another thing is that the software schematic doesn't show the front servo connected. Why not? When does it get connected? Just my luck I buy the Robird just as they are going out of business. Robird USA.com is already shut down.

If you scroll through the electronics support forums , you'll see a Robird31 forum. Don't know if it will help but there is probably someone there that can help you

The red light could mean there is not a rx connection. You will have to bind the robird to your via spektrum rx. Not sure if stock receiver has a dsmx satellite but you will need one if you don't already run one with robird. Once binding is complete with dsmx sat, the light will be red if you are in rate mode with your tx. I would hop over to the robird forum for more info... Hope this helps, good luck!

wsucnc,
As others mentioned above, please join us on the Robird section of Helifreak. We should be able to get you sorted out, sir.

I made sure the tx binded to the rx on a new model in my DX6i just before removing the stock gyro and head. I'm ready to get this figured out and get back flying. I've looked for a Robird thread before but I just now found it so I'll talk to you there. Thanks.
